Does Snapchat Store Your Conversation History?
No, the Snapchat app automatically deletes chats 24 hours after they have been viewed. The chats are deleted from the Snapchat server as well. This setting can be changed so that messages are deleted immediately after being viewed.
It is possible to save individual messages within a chat by clicking and holding a message until the you see the following three options: “Save in Chat,” “Copy,” or “Delete.” Saved chats appear in the message history for both users.
